“Botched is bungled - irredeemably, at times even enjoyably, so.
It starts out as a heist caper, morphs into a siege thriller and
then effectively throws in the towel and spends the final hour
having its characters chased around a Moscow office block by a
satanic descendant of Ivan the Terrible. Its natural state is
disarray - so much so that there's a tragicomic quality to the way
in which Stephen Dorff is shown picking his way through a wreckage
of dropped threads and cheesy Ree-yussian accents, presumably in
search of the career he left behind.”

“Jumbled ideas executed badly: heists, horror, humor, bad Russian
accents.”

“I must admit that at first I thought that the phony Russian
accents were too much. But soon when I realized which direction
the movie was going I understood why they used these accents.
Everything supposed to be over the top, including the acting!”

TT Instance Transcription:
Signor Groznyi: Ritchie!
Ritchie: Salve.
Signor Groznyi: Proprio niente.

croce.
Ritchie: Quindi lei non sa niente.
Signor Groznyi: No, niente.
Ritchie: Assolutamente niente?
Signor Groznyi: No.
Ritchie: Okay, basta. La sua famiglia è un gran casino, Signor
Groznyi.
Signor Groznyi: Aspetta, davvero hai conosciuto la mia famiglia?
Ritchie: Oh sì. Li ho uccisi tutti.
Signor Groznyi: Bravo ragazzo. Ecco. Bravo ragazzo. Prendi quella
bella fanciulla e vattene in vacanza e quando ti sarai rilassato
mi farai uno squillo e lavorerai ancora per me.
Ritchie: No, ho ripagato il mio debito. È abbastanza per me. Sono
fuori.
Signor Groznyi: Hey, Ritchie. Tu non sarai mai fuori.
